fish in howth
went to howth recently to buy some fish... was really worth it - you cannot beat the fresh stuff, in my opinion no comparison to supermarket. pricey maybe but a good treat. I recommend a visit...

How to get to Ireland's Eye
Does anyone know details of the boat(s) that bring tourists to Ireland's Eye from the pier at Howth? I'm interested in getting to Ireland's Eye on either Fri 21 or Sat 22 July, and I'd like to know:
Times the boat departs
Times the boat returns
Cost per passenger
Any rules about stuff we can bring on board? (e.g. is it okay to bring a bottle of wine for a picnic!)
Thanks

this is the site that gives info on the boat trips. I have never been but imagine it would be great. Boats depart at regular intervals from 10:30 am. Cost is 10euro for adults and 5 euro for children. Journey time is 15 mins. A phone number is given on the site for your other queries. Enjoy! Let us know how you get on, would love to give it a go some day too.
