| Student looking to rent room in jan. in beautiful Howth... |

Hello, my name is Erin and I'm a 21 year old theatre student from the States. I attended RADA in London for a Shakespeare course this summer for 2 months...afterward the course was finished, I traveled to Ireland for about 5 days...
I fell in love with your beautiful town, Howth. The hostel I was staying at was in Dublin, but I took the train every day from Dublin to Howth because I felt such a connection with your town and wanted to spend all my time there. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford to stay overnight because of the hotels/bed and breakfasts were too expensive for my student-pocket. I really wanted to stay in Howth, though...Howth had such a magical and family-oriented atmosphere...and it reminded me so much of my father, a prideful Irishman who passed away in 1999 at a young age due to cancer. I felt his spirit in your town's Church, in the cliffs, on the shore, on the dock (he was a fisherman himself)...Howth made me feel closer to my father than I have felt since his death.
My dream is to return and stay in Howth for a month over holiday, get a job there like waitressing or something... and really experience your beautiful town and all it has to offer.
The only way I could do this is if I could find a family or someone who would rent me a room in their home, just for the month of January (my holiday.) Is there anyone here on this forum who would be willing to talk with me about this? Or know of someone in Howth who would be interested in this? It would mean the world to me.
