Can anyone in Howth reading this tell me about the little Church, Chapel, (whatever it was called) which I see from Google street view has been demolished. My Great Grandfather John Angus, skipper of 3-masted ship.and ran a chandlers shop on West pier. I believe he started this little chapel in the late 1800s.early 1900s He lived in Hillside Terrace, (Now Thormanby Road.)
How long had this little Chapel been closed. and was there anything of interest left in the Chapel.? any history of it, if so I would love to know anything someone can tell me.
Please anyone who knows anything about it get in touch with me.
Regards
Heather |
