It seems that local news spreads faster on the message board than anywhere else. If anybody comes across any news of local interest, (which would be suitable for publication in print), or would like to promote any forthcoming events, please let me know. Thank you.

A local journalist with an interest in Howth! That sounds interesting. I'm sorry that I don't have any news for you, but if I hear any, I'll let you know. Good luck with it.

Hi - did anyone hear anything about the jeep that was washed over the East pier in the storm yesterday (Wed 26 Oct) and four people were rescued. were they local? - and what on earth were they doing on the pier in that kind of weather anyway? I thought I heard a flare go off as well......... Can't find much details in the news

I heard a whisper of a rumour that Dolores O Riordan from the cranberries has moved in to the vicinity. Lets all hunt her down and sing cranberries songs to her. Im sure she'd appreciate the fanbase. |

I heard it was the RNLI jeep, ironically enough.
